Edwardsville, IL The Edwardsville NB Ch. # 11039 PMG 15 $20 1902 PB Fr. 658 Repeater-Rotator SN 6969/X83481H pp A/861? dtd. July 16, 1917. PMG noted stained. Out of a run of 10822 3X10-20 sheets, this is only the 3rd $20 PB to surface. Dark signatures of E.A Fresen, Cashier and Charles Boeschenstein, President. One of two banks that operated in a small Madison County community, which is now part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. Edwardsville is the county seat of Madison County.
