Owner's Description

This note was the first series of Notes issued by Sultan of Brunei - Hassan Bolkiah after his ascending the throne from his father. Prints run from 1972 - 1988, this Prefix A note was the first print from 1972 - 78.
The Brunei Ringgit & Singapore Dollar has a Currency Interchangeability Agreement (CIA) signed in 1967, they had just celebrated its 50 years of successful relationship in 2017, believed if's one of the longest currency parity agreement in modern history between two sovereign countries, and these two currencies value are among the strongest in Asia Pacific besides the Japanese Yan.
