Carrollton, IL - $5 1875 Fr. 404 The Greene County NB Ch. # 2390
An attractive and problem free example with even circulation and dark penned signatures of Cashier Ornan Pierson and President John I. Thomas. Ornan's father founded this bank in 1854 with the original eponymous name of David Pierson, Banker. I enjoy the 25 with EPQ, lower grade original paper. Lovely note, well centered, excellent colors. All around nice note.
