Owner's Description

Like all $1 Continental bills this bill has an image of A weighted bowl on an acanthus plant and the Latin Motto "DEPRESSA RESURGIT" which translates to English as, "Though crushed it recovers". This bill was signed by William Gamble and Jedediah Snowden.
