Owner's Description
This is my favourite Canadian banknote that depicts the Inuit bringing in their furs to a representative of the Hudson's Bay Trading Post in Canada's far north. The Inuit are wearing their homemafe kamiks (boots) and parkas. I loved this banknote and dreamed of the far north tribes. Years later I had the honour to live and teach among the Inuit whom I greatly admire for their tenacity and spirit of overcoming all obstacles in the harshest of climates.
