Owner's Description

The note showcases Queen Mary on the front left side in an oval portrait wearing the elegant crown jewels. On the front right is the first seal of the Bank of Canada with the quintessential Canadian symbol of the maple leaf. On the reverse is a wonderful vignette paying homage to Canada's transportation networks. There's a winged helmeted Mercury standing in front of a world globe. Surrounding the figure are ships, trains, and an airplane. This note has a mintage of approximately 28,000,000. Just over 5,000,000 are in French and harder to collect.
