Owner's Description

Perry, NY The First NB Ch. # (E)4519 PMG 15 $10 1902 PB Fr. 627 SN 5258/U174740D pp A/454 dtd. Jan. 11, 1911. Faded, but legible stamped signatures of G.K. Page, Cashier and W.D. Page, President. Even circulation with wallet staining on back. The sole bank to issue in this small Wyoming County location found to the north of Silver Lake. The Town of Perry was established in 1814 from part of the Town of Leicester (now in Livingston County). It was coincidentally formed at the same time as another town of Perry in Cattaraugus County; that town changed its name to Perrysburgh in 1818 after being split up.
