Fostoria, OH The First NB Ch. # 2831 PMG 15 $5 1902 PB Fr. 598 SN 11217 pp G/1554 July 19, 1902. About a dozen Large size reported on this better Seneca County bank. Overstamp of President with Vice Prest. Signatures faded but legible. Cashier is R.S. Powley. The President would have been long serving Andrew Emerine except the VP signed and that signature is illegible.

Abington, MA The Abington NB Ch. # (N)1386 $10 1902 DB Fr. 616 PMG 25 Repeater SN 1302/N773773 pp E/133 dtd. June 18, 1905. Signatures of G.R. Farrar as Cashier and Vice President W.S. O'Brien noted. Alphabetically, Abington is the first town listed for NBs in MA and a paltry 5 large size notes are known for this bank despite issues from 1865 to 1935! The only series of 1902 date back and a very desirable $10 Date Back at that! Ex Marvin R. Levine and at least one other person before me.
