This note was used in Indonesia 100 years ago in January 1920, were widely circulated till 1925, succeeded by the "Coen II" series in 1925.
The "Muntblijet II" series, consist of 1/2, 1 and 2.5 Gulden, issued by the Netherlands Indies authority under the colonial master Dutch, Notes were printed in Amsterdam.
There were one and two prefix versions with 6 serial numbers for this one Gulden coin note.

The 1940 "Munbiljet" paper coin consists of two denominations, one & two Gulden. It was printed by G. Kolff & Co at East Jaya Batavia, then the Capital of Indonesia. The paper coins were in circulation till the Japanese invasion and ruled from 1942.

Netherlands Indies Civil Administration (NICA) returned to Indonesia in 1946, soon after Japan was defeated in World War 2 in 1945. New set of Notes were issued by NICA, and printed by ANBC. Featuring the Portrait of Dutch's Queen Hinda Belandaon on the note.
A total of 9 denominations notes were issued, starting from this 50 cent note, end with the highest denomination 500 Gulden.
