A scarcer type and denomination from this Hill County bank that, while it has had some repairs, faces up quite nicely for the assigned grade with sharp ink colors. NBN census reports a mere 3 1882 date Date Backs and this is the only $10 denomination in the census along with 2 other $20 Date Backs. The rubber-stamped signatures are present, but faded, the cashier is O. G. Bowman. The pieces added mentioned on the PMG back label includes the upper right corner.

Hometown note! I have a small on this common Waco bank although this $50 Date Back is almost as common. There are 18 DB's listed in the T&P census although PMG has only graded 12 Fr 674's.

One of only five large size hundreds known from here, one of which is locked away in the Philpott/Moody holdings. It is as nice as any of the known survivors, with bright paper and bold purple stamped signatures. My large size, large denomination hometown note!
