This special commemorative banknote celebrates Canada's 100th Anniversary of Confederation in 1967. The note has the 1867 to 1967 Confederation Symbol on the front left. I remember my parents giving my sister and I one of these to save after they visited Montreal for Expo 67. My dad had a banknote framed with the special Confederation coins and it hung on his office wall until his retirement.

I have a sequential pair of the notes. Both are EPQ star replacements. One is a 64 and the other a 63. The 100th anniversary of Canada's Confederation was a huge celebration. Canada hosted the world at Expo 67 that summer in Montreal. My parents brought back one of these notes for me as a souvenir. It contains the special Confederation symbol on the front left of the bill.
