Owner's Description

This 1911 $1,000 “Bearer Note” is graded PMG Fine 12 and is the only example known in
private hands. The only other note known is secured by the National Currency Collection
in the Bank of Canada Museum. It is not a surprise that the Dauer note serves as the plate
note in the 27th Edition of Canadian Government Paper Money.
