Owner's Description

John Davison Rockefeller III started the Dunbar National Bank of New York on September 17, 1928 and closed in 1935.
It was named after writer poet Paul L. Dunbar. The bank was established to serve the business and personal banking interest of Harlem's Afro-American population. Managed by Afro-Americans.
