Owner's Description:
Louisville, KY The Citizens NB Ch. # (S)2164 $5 1902 DB Fr. 597 PMG10Net SN 10704/K585466B pp C/374 dtd. Aug. 1, 1914. HA has sold some impressive notes on this charter, but none were 1902 series Date Backs (DBs). There's one other $5 DB in VG/F SN 6924/A3500991B. Despite holes and edge damage, the note has beautiful signatures of Percy K. Johnston, Cashier, and J.B. Lured (although K.C. Rodes was President), a bank SN 3 off from a radar, and the look of a VF+.
