Newark, AR - The First NB Ch. # (S)9022 PMG 25 $10 1902 DB Fr. 618 SN 1334/N84247 pp H/51 dated Jan. 25, 1908. While Series 1929 examples are occasionally offered from this sole Independence County locale, large notes are much more difficult to obtain. Vivid purple signatures of E.B. Chesser, Cashier and C.M. Edwards, President.

Jan. 20, 1920 radar treasury SN and a scarce bank in large size (7 notes), with this the only denomination issued. Springfield, VT The First NB Ch. # (N)122 PMG 25 VF $10 1902 PB Fr. 624 Repeater SN 17028/U318318 pp G/95 dtd. Sept. 1, 1902. The stamped signatures of G.A Waite, Cashier and Fred G. Field, President are light, but still legible on this Third Charter $10 from the Green Mountain State. This institution was the sole issuer in town.

New York, NY The Harriman NB Ch. # 9955 PMG 25 $10 1902 PB Fr. 627 SN 67185/U586115 pp H/95 dtd. Mar. 2, 1911. This bank was founded by Joseph Wright Harriman on March 2, 1911. However, it was also brought down on October 16, 1933 by Mr. Harriman due to his financial finagling.

After the name change in 5/29/20, the FNB in Bessemer chose to issue only $10s switching to sheets of 4x$10. Bessemer is situated in the midst of the iron ore and limestone district of Alabama, in the southern part of Jones Valley, SW of Birmingham. A moderately circulated Third Charter note from this Vermont bank that bears its second title. The town name is included in the tombstone of this $10 which certainly adds to its appeal. Great signatures of Nelson Bailey, Cashier and E. Bertram Pike, President.
