Set Description:
This set is my collection of Chinese first series Renminbi.

The preparation and issuance of the Chinese First Series Renminbi was during the second phase of the Chinese Civil War between the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Kuomintang (KMT). Due to the shortage of printing tools, resources, and professionals, as well as the stalemate of the battlefields in various regions in the early days of the War, the printing production process was very difficult. Although there are still large differences in the craftsmanship and style design of the Chinese First Series Renminbi, and there is no completely unified style, it represents the milestone of the liberated area currency from independence to unification during the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
