Owner Comments:

Official Medal from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis, Missouri. The obverse features the busts of Jefferson and Napoleon. The reverse features a relief map of the U.S. with a star marking the location of St. Louis, MO. This medal was struck at the mint exhibit at the exposition and sold as a souvenir in 1904. Struck in Bronze.

THERE ARE ONLY (6) MS 66'S LISTED AS FINER OF OVER (100) IN THE NGC CENSUS AS OF 6/2023.

JEFF SHEVLIN PREVIOUSLY HAD AN NGC GRADED MS 64 EXAMPLE OF THIS TYPE IN HIS FIXED PRICE LIST FOR $265.00.

AN NGC GRADED MS 65 EXAMPLE WAS SOLD FOR $425.00 ON MICHAEL KITTLE'S WEBSITE.
