OF OVER 280 GRADED OF THIS TYPE BY NGC, THERE ARE (20) MS 67'S AND (1) MS 68 LISTED AS FINER BY THE NGC CENSUS AS OF 6/2023. EXCEPT FOR SOME VERY SLIGHT TONING, I HONESTLY CANNOT SEE WHY THIS EXAMPLE IS NOT GRADED MS 67.

AN NGC GRADED MS 65 EXAMPLE WAS SOLD BY STACKS BOWERS IN APRIL 2023 FOR $720.00.
AN NGC GRADED MS 67 EXAMPLE WAS SOLD BY STACKS BOWERS IN JUNE 2021 FOR $1,920.00.

Gold-Plated. Official Medal from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis, Missouri. The obverse features the busts of Jefferson and Napoleon. The reverse features a relief map of the U.S. with a star marking the location of St. Louis. This medal was struck at the mint exhibit at the exposition and sold as a souvenir in 1904.
