TOKEN BACKGROUND:
Token used by the Carroll Hotel Lounge in Brush, Colorado for 30C in trade.
—————
All Brush, Colorado tokens are rare, as Pritchard only has 7 issues listed from the entire town, 2 of which are varieties of the same token. The 30C Carroll Hotel Lounge issue described here is not listed in the guide at all which is quite fascinating, considering the 50C variety is, and a mere 2 examples are known to exist (also in this collection). The likelihood of the 30C Carroll Hotel Lounge token being rare is certain; let alone in a grade of MS-61 with remaining original luster on the obverse.
