TOKEN APPEARANCE/CONDITION:
Almost Uncirculated: Details (Improperly Cleaned)
An exceedingly rare issue with uniform surfaces. What appears to be very “light” cleaning does not take away from the visual appeal of this example. Warm, sandy colored surfaces are even throughout; texture can even be seen in the numbers 2 and 5 of 25¢ on the reverse, indicating a sharp strike. - Wear, even minimal, is not exhibited anywhere on this piece upon close examination. Curious if NGC decided to net grade it from UNC to AU based on the associated details. — ~150-degree die-rotation is exhibited on this piece which is significant compared to other pieces showing die rotations in this collection; likely the most dramatic.*
