TOKEN APPEARANCE/CONDITION:

*Problem-free AU+ example just shy of mint-state with even, untoned surfaces. When viewing under direct light, the fields mirror light well, showing the original luster of the token throughout. Details are relatively sharp with minimal wear. Abrasions and contact marks are seen on both the obverse/reverse. - A nice looking specimen of which only a few dozen are known to exist.*
TOKEN BACKGROUND:
Token used by “Hudson Billiards” in Hudson, Colorado for 25C in trade circa 1900-1920 (NGC); however Pritchard notes 1946. Listed as a billiards parlor that opened shortly after the end of WWII.

Just four overall issues are listed under the town Hudson, Colorado; and only two issues/denomination for Hudson Billiards (25C & 50C). The other 2 issues are from separate issuers/establishments (“Miller & Penka” and “Recreation”).
