ANA MEDAL APPEARANCE/CONDITION:
*Handsome, proof-like specimen with deeply mirrored fields. — The obverse features a variety of the famous Winged Liberty Head/Mercury dime design. The reverse design is also nearly A replica of of the Mercury dime; however, with different wording. The “CS” mintmark stands for Colorado Springs. — Attempted to submit a different Gallery Mint issue in this collection to NGC for certification; however, it came back as “ineligible type” and was sent back; uncertain as to why since many other miscellaneous issues were indeed certified. Therefore, I will not be sending this piece in, as it’ll remain raw until NGC changes it’s policy on grading Gallery Mint issues (if/when).*

(Gallery Mint):
The Gallery Mint Museum specializes in minting reproductions of antique coins, which they sell to collectors who want to fill in gaps in their collections without paying unaffordable prices for the genuine. A great example of this is the 1804 Dollar.
Additionally, issues are minted for various events and coin clubs with renowned and famous designs.
