This specimen is a nice example of one of the One Centavo "Victory Coins" the allies brought with them when they liberated the Philippines.

The color photos on this page were taken by my father during the Liberation of the Philippines. Both photos were taken during the Battle of Manila (February 3, 1945 - March 3, 1945).
