*THE LAST OF THE BEAR BOOKS!

This book has been the bane of my existence for the last few years- I've only ever seen 2 for sale- both of them waaay out of my price range for a silly bear book that -let's be real- only 5 or 6 people might want. There are only 25 of these, but that should still be plenty. -I'm not dissin'-- the cover is beautiful- the little blue logo that makes it the obvious rarest of the rare bear books and the specialist of all out of the 8 of the current bear books.

For three years the 2 of these up for grabs were priced at $1700 and $1100. That's real. One of the sellers vanished and took their comic into the ether. The other copy sat on my watch list- and as all the other books I wanted were slowly acquired, this one laughed at my face, filling me with dread. Many of the bear books are limited to 25 or 50, there are also AP copies, but non of them "raw" were even close to these prices.

This became what I would deem to be the book to give this set a "soft completion"- there are no more books for me to get. There is a Finland GameStop Variant- but I don't care about it one bit- i have 2 of the 3 GameStop books, and that's 2 more than I thought I'd ever have. Unless more homage covers are released (which there still are)- this Dead Pooh book is the breaking of the finish line tape.

....needless to say the price plummeted over the recent months thankfully and eventually the seller took a good offer- and to my total ignorance this book was living in the same state as the rest of its #1 friends. On December 27th 2020 this book was handed to me in the parking lot of the comic book shop- The name of the comic book shop has changed 3 times since the first time I did a deal in the parking lot on some Walking Dead contraband.-

The battle is over....for now.
