This is the first 1/4 piastre for the reign of King Edward and like the last two issues of Victoria is smaller in diameter (21 mm) than previous issues.
OBVERSE: Crowned bust of King Edward VII facing right.
REVERSE: 1/4 within a beaded circle.
ENGRAVER: George William De Saulles.

METAL COMPOSITION: Copper 95%, Tin 4%, Zinc 1%.
