The first 1/2 piastre for the reign of George V was issued in 1922, fourteen years after the previous issue in 1908 for the reign of Edward VII.
OBVERSE: Crowned bust of George V facing left.
REVERSE: 1/2 within a beaded circle.
ENGRAVER: Obverse: Edwar Bertram MacKennal. Reverse: Leonard Charles Wyon.
