Owner Comments:

St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral is an emblematic Bulgarian building and a monument of culture. The place where the cathedral was erected is the highest at that time in Sofia. Architecturally, the temple is a five-nave neo-Byzantine church - a cross-domed basilica featuring an emphasized central dome; the main domes are gold-plated. The interior is decorated with luxurious and expensive materials, most of which were imported from different parts of the world. The central dome is 45 meters high. The area totals 3170 sq. m. The cathedral seats 5000 people and is the second biggest temple on the Balkan Peninsula.
