This piece is an example of a U.S. Grant Monument Type I medal that has the same reverse design as HK-161. It is made of aluminum, is well struck, and exhibits beautiful deep proof-like surfaces. It has been graded MS-64 DPL by NGC and is the finest known example of a HK-759A. The overall rarity is listed as R6 (21-75 known).
