Daredevil #100 features the 1st appearance of Angar the Screamer + Daredevil’s origin is retold!
Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $110.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 280 Universal copies graded, only 13 copies were graded in 9.8 with 0 copies graded higher!
With these statistics in mind, this represents an impressive rarity factor of ONLY 4.64% of the total population!

Like the Amazing Spider-Man’s centennial issue published in September of 1971; Daredevil’s milestone 100th issue published in June of 1973, features a plethora of original Daredevil villains that first appeared within the title!
The Owl, who was Daredevil’s 1st villain (introduced in issue #3), is featured on the upper right-hand side! Continuing in clockwise direction, we have the Leap-Frog, Karen Page & Foggy Nelson, the Jester, the Ox, the Gladiator, El Matador, Mr. Fear, and the Organizer!
To complement this imagery, a large depiction of Daredevil is gracing the cover with deep red and black colors, as he appears to be flying right off the page! In addition, the bright yellow background, coupled with all his supporting characters featured in blue hues makes this Bronze Age landmark cover POP!
Moreover, actor Jeff Daniel Phillips portrayed Angar the Screamer in the second season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2020) in the 13th episode entitled, “One of Us.”
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED copy from the Shortboxed app in February of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
