Daredevil #302 features a phenomenal Daredevil Vs. the Owl battle cover!
Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $4.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 28 Universal copies graded, 17 copies were graded in 9.8 with ONLY 1 copy graded higher in 9.9!
With these statistics in mind, this represents a rarity factor of 60.71% of the total population.
However, this is the much RARER Newsstand Edition Variant, which means that you can estimate that ONLY 2-4% of all 9.8s are Newsstand Edition copies!

The Owl (Leland Owlsley), who first appeared in Daredevil #3 in August of 1964, was Daredevil’s 1st original villain introduced in the title!
On that note, Daredevil #302 features an impressive Lee Weeks Daredevil Vs. the Owl battle cover, where we see Daredevil in a dominant pose grabbing a “grounded” Owl with one hand, while raising his clenched fist for the knockout blow!
Interestingly, this cover looks remarkably like Daredevil #290, which makes me wonder if Lee Weeks was paying homage to Kieron Dwyer‘s Daredevil Vs. Bullseye cover?
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED Newsstand Edition Variant copy from factorymuscle (via eBay) in April of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
