Published in September of 1978, the legendary Gene Colan (penciller) & Steve Leialoha (inker) produced a beautiful cover that features a mob of Daredevil villains, which include: the Purple Man (pointing at Daredevil), the Gladiator, Cobra & Mr. Hyde and the Jester!
To bring this scene to life, the comic dialogue bubbles read:
(DAREDEVIL): “JESTER! HYDE! COBRA! GLADIATOR! AT THE COMMAND OF THE PURPLE MAN…”
(PURPLE MAN—pointing his finger towards DD): “SLAY DAREDEVIL!”
