One of eight 9.8’s when added, with no other copies graded! I wonder how that happened?
I was alerted to this book being listed on eBay by fellow CGC forum member revat. He posted on my Bloodlines want to buy post that this book was currently listed, but that it was a little higher than what I was offering. I went and checked it out because I was not aware of it. I was able to get the seller down a little bit, but felt like it was worth it because you just don’t see books from this set come up that often.
I really appreciate revat letting me know about this book, especially when you consider that he probably saw my WTB post and then did some searching for me… just very cool of him!
I had this book reholdered in May 2024 because the holder it arrived in had yellowed! It’s the only holder I’ve ever seen to do that but thankfully the book was okay!
Note - in March 2026 one of the other 9.8's still in an old holder (and with a busted corner) was listed on eBay for $500.00... the cert on that book was 0703570021 and grade date was 11 Feb 2005. The graded date of mine is 14 Feb 2005... pretty close but not the same submission. I did not see the $500.00 book sell but from what I understand there is some interest in the Anima character so maybe this will be a hot one some day... doesn't matter to me but that would be cool!
