SIGNED BY MIKE MAYHEW ON 10/3/19. Charles Soule story. Steve McNiven & Jay Leisten art. Mike Mayhew cover. The Wolverine awakes in a lab, and while surrounded by bodies, he then discovers they are lifeless. It takes someone spilling their guts to enlighten, when his claws are glowing hot and a newfound life and or existence upon his brow. It again seems to be the clone saga, or maybe to be finally admitted too. It finds him again making some efforts to protect the innocents, which seems to be an ever-ongoing purpose for freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Obtained this circa 2024 in the boards raffle from boardie Ron C! With a signature series example of those burning claws in 9.8, complementary orange cover and yellow label curtesy of the same Mike Mayhew! All in all, a very robust offering that continues Logan as the Wolverine into venues and avenues.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass to see the movie before released publicly of, "Unstoppable!" A story of overcoming a called handicap that proves like when the Wolverine was thought dead, that in spite of circumstances people can make it through and out for the better of themselves and others. Admirable goals, and dare I say, "of heroes!"
