Last issue until 8-9/76. Full page ad by Murphy Anderson announcing move to back of Flash. Denny O'Neil story. Neal Adams cover and art! If you’re in the battle for the Lord and right, keep on the firing line; If you win, my brother, surely you must fight, Keep on the firing line. Some when already dying, like in this issue, might find the motivation to become the voice of reason, as Green Lantern and Green Arrow happen upon a person named Isacc at an aviator place who is attempting to do just that by protesting. It becomes like a he said, she said, type atmosphere until somehow Isacc crucifies himself and with Green Lantern and Green Arrow strung up next to him. Isacc gasps a last breath, and although someone has stolen the Green Lantern "ring", Green Arrow has the muscle to break the chains. Green Lantern ends up trashing 9-million-dollar technology and ends the issue by saying, "Send me the Bill!"
 Coming off the heels of a new Green Lantern in issue #87, and here is the 2nd appearance, raw, of that "newish" Green Lantern. That is to say the reputation of the Green Lantern persona was being strut out for a reputation, only to end the series in this issue #89!
Complete with a back cover picture of a hat obtained at an Oscar viewing of the award show in theaters, circa 2025, of the Amazon Christian show, "House of David!" I enjoy the "Chosen" TV show as well, and yet the House of David Amazon shows with what spirit and zeal we all must adhere, even in childlike ways to fight giants that are in the "world" and within this issue of Green Lantern. Jesus was born of the House of David, as well, and as King of kings shows us the path or righteous ways in order to discern why He was crucified and is risen!
