Green Lantern the Ongoing Series

Neal Adams is at it again, but with enough class to put some all-out brawls into print. This teaches us to be conservative in our emotions, when there can be dire consequences from an overreaction. Especially with split second decisions, which is meant to test us! Patience Young Grasshopper. The 70's aspirations were not lost on that generation. It has been built upon, slowly but surely, from then on. Before that, there weren't "as many" outlets, but the truth in morality has always been the good windmill! As the Animaniacs said in the cartoons, "Wheel of morality turn, turn, turn! Tell us the lesson that we should learn!" Even the Animaniacs of the world had to have the parables and metaphors put in terms that were understandable for a child. The Comics Print Onward!

The Lantern Society has gone through rotations throughout the years, with different guardians and with even different colors. All may have their weaknesses, but the strengths outweigh and are built on experiences!

Lanterns are the battery source, and much like lighthouses often can set off a beacon set on a hill, if even in someone's house or barn. Such calls to mind the exhorting that it takes to be called as a Green Lantern, as they may have some weaknesses but come shining through with ingenuity. It takes a creative mind to play the part of a ring powered by a lantern, that imagines the holder's power into reality, and kind of enforcing those strengths. One must be considered "worthy" I'm thinking and so are the stories of the elders. The worthiness of a hero that might not always get the credit they deserve for being on the line for the toughest jobs. Some heroes are not prepared at first themselves and need a learning curve!
