I LOVE this book. Byrne and Claremont in full stride: X-Men in danger on several fronts with fantastic character development. Kitty went on to become such a window for readers into Claremont's run — by issue #168, her 'Professor Xavier is a jerk!' splash page had made her one of my favorite characters (with Lockheed by her side, of course).
