Arthur "Art" Adams amazing artist and yet another reason I seem to come back to this series is solely for the cover art. Wasn't a fan at all of the AvX its coming banner messing with his cover but understand the need to gain some momentum for the upcoming series.
Additionally when telling me Rick Remender is writing the story you got me Marvel, i'll bite. His story line in Uncanny X-Force was pretty amazing and one of the lines that truly brought me back nto collecting once again. But that's a story better left for Uncanny X-Force.
As for this one...I don't know. It seemed awfully like an issue #1 but since it is a new writer I guess it only makes sense for a new direction and all.
I'm not a Captain Britian fan what so ever but yet we see him in this one and somehow it left me believing that I was going to get a story line that would encompass all of Remender's books but yet didn't.
I would have loved for this one to have tied into Uncanny X-Force in some bigger way and did see that he is incorporating Venom in the next issue but I guess I shall wait and see.
This did have the best WTF momment in comics for me. Seeing Captain Britian getting launched through a building and then apologize to the Queen for getting his ass handed to him was different. "Get up off of your knees"
