Marvel's version of a cross-over event on a parallel universe (DC's version, which was supposed to follow, never made it past the planning stages). Chris Claremont (of X-Men fame) and Jim Shooter (Marvel's editor in chief) writing about Deathstroke, the Terminator, kicking the butts of the X-Men. Interesting, because Deathstroke was a relatively new character at that time. Of course, years later, Deathstroke basically does the same thing to DC heroes in Infinite Crisis . . . Relatively easy to find in high grade, particularly for the points that you get on the Registry. Random eBay purchase, but the signatures (both Wolfman and Perez) were obtained by par2ch at Megacon on 3/12/10.

Other than the fact that it is the start of this series, which I love, you need not look further than the cover for my favorite part of this book. Classic art work with all the Titans coming right at you! White cover was often miscut along right edge, so sorta hard to find in high grade, but it was a first issue, so at least there were lots of copies out there. This copy is triple signature series signed by writer Wolfman (on 7/24/09) as well as artist Perez and series contributor Dick Giordano (both on 6/19/09). Purchased from rasmus2, but signatures acquired by par2ch.

Cool origin issue for Cyborg. This mini-series introduced the origins of those members of the NTT that were lesser known, including the just created for this series Cyborg. Published concurrently with NTT 20 (so I'm not sure why it's on this list after issue 40). Purchased from Reynold Jay's Back Issue Comix. Double-signed by George Perez on 9/3/11 and by Marv Wolfman on 11/12/11.
