Set Description:

A lightly broken run with an emphasis on high grade Silver & Bronze bats. The runs of 100-200 and 200-300 feature an incredible selection of over 125 CONSECUTIVE silver-to-bronze age Batman comics. Now unbroken from issue 131 till 262, the end of the Bronze age Giants. A few Golden age Keys: the Catwoman origin (issue 62) and Batman's 1st origin #47 both in 8.0. For top end there are a few at or near the highest graded, issue 92 (1st Ace BatHound-also see issues 97 and 158) a 9.2 copy of the Riddler's classic Silver re-appearance (171); a 9.4 copy of the 1st Poison Ivy (181), and a 9.2 copy of the 1st Silver Age Scarecrow appearance (189) and a noteworthy 9.6 issue 234 with the classic Neal Adams Two-Face drama.

In addition, Ed had a reader copy kept with each CGC issue. An example is shown in the pretty strip-top copy of Batman 47 from 1948 which accompanies the 8.0 CGC version. Batman 47 1st tells Batman's full origin involving meeting Joe Chill in a face to face confrontation.
