Daredevil is a superhero appearing in Marvel comic books.
Daredevil was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with input from Jack Kirby. The character first appeared in Daredevil #1 in April 1964.
Wally Wood introduced Daredevil's modern red costume in issue #7, which depicts Daredevil's battle against the far more powerful Sub-Mariner which has become one of the most iconic stories of the series.
