Set Description:
Some slapping and roaring of the high seas find a barbarian traveler among his own for some wheeling and dealing, by crom.
Verse 1]
Because mutiny on the Bounty's what we're all about
I'm gonna board your ship and turn it on out
No soft sucker with a parrot on his shoulder
'Cause I'm bad gettin' bolder, cold getting colder
Terrorizing suckers on the seven seas
And if you've got beef, you'll get capped in the knees
We got sixteen men on a dead man's chest
And I shot those suckers, and I'll shoot the rest
[Hook]
Most illingest b-boy - I got that feeling
'Cause I am most ill, and I'm rhymin' and stealin'
Conan adrift in the Alex Ross signature maligned ship, with flags waiving! It happens when the "sales" come at a Local Comic Shop and the kind winds of fortune unbury a "find" with sunken treasure and signature series!
Verse 2]
Shhh-Snatching gold chains, nicking pieces of eight!
I got your money and your honey and the fly name plate.
I don't suggest the rest of the song by the Beastie Boy's but it is what it is and has been lived through by kids of the 80's. Many flags waived under a Conan King, but it took the savagery to incorporate the BarBarians of the age. Those were the ages of Conan, and do we dare do better with the honor learned!
Savagely Sworded but not thwarted by way of pick-ups with family and friends bonding. At a local comic shop to discuss books or slabs, it is the mission of the hobby to discover those treasures. It makes me glad that looking back it was peacefully obtained in the back of the store with all the spare change available, as Alex Ross in a painted cover or even Conan as a brand can show, it is those attributes that make for good stories for the collection. On the whole of an inspiration and seemingly some impulse, it still takes some dedication and fortitude to stick to those guns and or blade, when considering some CGC Signature Series! On to the hopeful next round of bin dives, be it through friends or a Lager of ale, we can get by leaning on some everlasting arms!

Savage Sword of Conan #237. SIGNED BY ALEX ROSS ON 4/23/24. Gerry Duggan story and Ron Garney art, with an Alex Ross cover! Coming to terms with the hard lined sales of late, and wanting to support the LCS around town, with many options available. A nice "store find" and priced at $120, but with a 35% off sale, so with tax at $85 out the door! I'll take it, with more available if I can swing the similar in price, in time. I enjoy Alex Ross, and some acquisitions are hard to find, and if so, priced comfortably. I've eyed my Conan's and thought they could use some extra love and care, and coming in with 9.8 signature series fits the bill nicely. Brandishing the cover and having a little fun but wielding with care! My brother bought me this circa 2024, for no reason other than we are having some fun out and about, Lord willing goodness and mercy follows!
Breathe easy. Some slapping and roaring of the high seas find a barbarian traveler among his own for some wheeling and dealing, by crom, unless they get capped in the knees. Most ill'e'nest people, got that feelin' from rhyming and stealing. ~ Beasties
Complete with a back cover picture of the Free Comic Book Day issue of Conan, circa 2023. To show some Conan may be made for younger audiences, although we all know a Barbarian's coming and going is not to be taken lightly. Any bands or spreading of true "Kneecap" tendencies, such as any band in circa 2025, should be pricked in heart of the dangerous waters of such decisions. Turn back to the first love in virtue to have a change of heart from promoting. May the Prince of Peace come and change our ignorance.
