My first graded copy but my second overall. This is a book I decided to get to bring me closer to my goals. I hope to attain issues 1-10 signed by Stan Lee before his passing. I understand this could be morbid but he is 90 and I was blessed to meet in three times in 2012, the year I turned 40. As tight as money is getting, Wizard World is the next chance to get at least one more Daredevil Signed and graded. Issue number two perhaps, the last number I need for the entire collection.

This book is a first for two reasons, one it is my first restored book ( For this grade I could NOT beat this price, even restored) and it is also the first slabbed book that I purchased and have yet to read it, so much for Rom Annual #3.If I could get a lot more books like this for this price I would have no problem having the majority of my DD run like this. I am happier with this book then some of the 9.8 books I bought, bring them on, OK I am getting a bit to psyched.

At one point this was one of my favorite Daredevil covers...and still is. It was also one of my first silver age books. I think it was this and X-men #42 that compete for that honor. Both looked really nice. I turned this in for my pressing experiment. Originally I chose 14, not all 14 made it that far. This came back a 8.5. Daredevil looks good falling to his death by the hands of the Stltman (hahaha...hands of the Stiltman...hey look at me I wear stilts. It would have been great if the main character was actually 3'7") ANyway. I can't complain about the results and one day a higher grade will be mine.

My New Mutants #17 was purchased for me as a gift. As was this one. This however was not purchased graded. This was purchased loose by a friend who pretty much said she would never buy a comic book for me. She did. The fact that she bought me a comic book was enough for me to decide to get it graded. I had this pressed my Matt Nelson. I wanted to make sure that whatever she got me could achieve the best graded copy possible.
