Set Description:
Scarlet Spider makes an appearance! Let's make this web thing a hobby, and hope no Hobgoblins follow! Coming soon for this and any set, anyway. We keep on task with artsy covers by Byrne though, and the like, trippy! Love the 1sts and the rest of the appearances too, although it seems the ones that appear most are somewhat Venom related, they were found in the $1 bins. Even the 1st couple of issues and the Scarlett Spider issues!
Webby has kind of a cool ring to it, I'm sure it is a nickname somewhere, although Spider-man is where it is at as the original "Webster?!?" No that is probably already taken.
A web by any other name would still sling out the spiders from within and along the road of clones, venoms, and or any other fly caught from inside these issues of Spider-man. Some solo stuff but with guest stars abounding, also, while mainly it is the man in black type of suits that captivate the attention with innovative and symbiotic workings that baffle science. Peter Parker is among them, and he is still on the uptake with what all will come about. With no Spidey-Senses and or way to be sure that it isn't somehow, "Aliens!" There was a "History" here among creating the backstory in and among the backdrop of Peter Parker, who does have the common sense to investigate the occurrences and while picking himself apart to the bone of a clone. Venom attributes and mayhem apply, but not without webbing up some romantic and business-like rendezvous with friends and partners alike.

1st appearance of Vulturions. Another attempt at Venom rebirth, does it ever stop, well find out for yourself! In the end it's the bridge we torched 10 thousand times before, this time we'll blast it all to HELL! ~ Green Day! Woo-Hoo, it's got game. We've got the idea for the weakness in most symbiotes from the bell tower, doesn't ring a bell? Read ASM #300 and see that sound takes away the sting of death in the trail mix that are the symbiotes. Time is on their side as they search the perimeter with the black suit, it doesn't take Spidey long to come up with some old familiar sarcasm. It's the cojones of the "Alien", if only Sigourney Weaver was this lucky, we would take to task and nuke the place. Familiar spirits get down with big town learning about their hometown! That Alien Venom needs to see a dentist, already, as many have seen that smile as a uniqueness. Maybe the Punisher got the number first though with the sound waves, when Venom bares HIS SCARS!
Complete with a back cover picture of this series that went on for a while, from #100 and beyond, and even an annual from my bin diving and green shiny #100 from childhood! The annual being a dollar bin find, it only calls to mind how books can survive in the wild and in nice condition!
Grader Notes:
very light cover tanning;
very light finger bends on cover;
very light spine stress lines to cover.

Perhaps a cameo of Venom? Someone or something is NOT SETTING OFF PARKER'S SPIDER-SENSE! Jameson gave Parker a day off from work to prepare for his next assignment, and this time it almost cost him his life. Indeed the "spider" like reflexes keeps the train a rolling, well keeps the train in this instance from running over Peter Parker in street clothes. HA! Even on his day off, Parker has to be on his toes and in this instance is flabbergasted at the context, and he is so shaken up that he wanders down a dirt road to find trouble at the end of the tunnel. All the while he tries not to lose faith in his capabilities, but no matter, as Spidey has ingenuity sometimes. Keeping his wit and sarcasm alive all while stumbling on to secrets! Fighting from being out witted and relying too hard on his usual Spider senses that have had a misstep, he finds instinct.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "The Beekeeper!" People who, like Spider-Man, have been caught off guard. They've been phone and Internet scammed out of thousands of dollars by "robot calls." These victims need people like the ever-resourceful Spidey and Jason Statham as "beekeepers" to keep the collective hive "justice" intact! We've all been contacted about our "manufactures warranty!"

1st solo Scarlet Spider! Well, a "1st Solo Clone Story." I found this at the used bookstore for about $1-2, so happy I did! I've been competing with the guy that works there to find some quality books. He's been winning ha-ha!!! The store is only 2 blocks away, and I suppose someone has to have the advantage! A story of clones that a lot of people hate, but if you went all in, it had some good reads too. This Spider-man had hipster clothes, and was as close to the modern punk rock Spider-man as you could get back then in the 90's. Rock on? Rock on! Just a Pyromania! Some attitudes, and enough of them that Venom had to scope it out in this and the next issue. This issue, however, has issues based on its perception. I take it at face value, and you've got to shake things topsy turvy to figure it all out. What do you want? I want rock and roll!
Complete with a back cover picture of the next issue I believe of importance concerning the Scarlett Spider, his first ongoing series #1 after he wraps up in the web of Spider-Man series, and it's a $1.50 Newsstand "Priced" Edition no less.
Grader Notes;
crunch right bottom of whole book;
small crease right bottom of back cover.

1st appearance of Kaine, who is a Peter Parker clone! Venom & Scream appearance. Marvel subscription insert included. Signed by Steven Butler 2/22/14! Now retconned and somewhat a continuity, the clone lives on, the Scarlett Spider. Bought already slabbed at 9.4 and Signature Series from Local Comic Shop Awesome Comics! Bought this December 2022, got a deal, I think, at $60 cash. Owner has the oddball stuff that fits me fine sometimes, especially those minor, minor "keys!" Ones that are somewhat runs like this issue #119 that compliments my #118 in presentation and grade. Glad the Scarlett Spider has stuck around, as it isn't everyone's favorite, but most stories make for good reads. All Series have their ups and downs, and this hits 90s nostalgia right between the eyes. With Venom making a somewhat relatively early appearance, Marvel was branching out, trying things new, and seeing what stuck!
Complete with the back cover picture showing how this Scarlett webbist has fared. He seemingly goes on to an ongoing series, of which is pictured #1 & #3, that may have their day in the sun with some luck. The collection is ever growing from bin diving and empty wallets around the world!
