A mini-key in that this issue introduces the new Wonder Woman, which includes not just a dumping of the traditional costume, but also another logo change. Our 9.8 is the single highest graded issue. These later issues are actually more popular than many early ones and we paid a pretty penny for this one in a very competitive December 2019 CL auction.

The fellow collector I got this one from, which was an upgrade over my 9.6, thought it was the coolest of all WW covers. I am not sure I would go quite that far, but it’s certainly a far cry from many earlier WW covers. This WP 9.8 comes from the Pacific Coast Collection and is currently the single highest graded copy out of 47 books certified by CGC-not a big population to start. Once again, we acquired it from a friend and fellow collector in May 2023.
