Buzz words! Flashy Back Covers! Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! It is time for some early Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hang Time! Cowabunga and Radicalness are the usual buzzy infomercial words that take the classic TMNT to a new level, the back cover! Lol It isn't as shiny as a diamond, but it can be taken with you in a travel bag or carry on, because we've got to notice when new books are arriving. Many issues I've bought and I'm glad when I get to the end for there to be an advertisement for the next issue. Be it Cable in New Mutants #86 or Invincible #43, it can be a nail biter to wait until the next issue! Headbangers ball should be such a thrill. Seeking out the next issue when there is buzz for it is key to the passion and ambition in the thrill of the hunt. It's not always as easy as it looks, due to Local Comic Shop lines and sometimes limited orders or other availability issues.
Front cover picture of an early or of the first shown stories in "COLOR" of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! With dialogue as opposed to an advertisement, in GRIM JACK issue #26. A raw for now and to read up on when the TOITLES visit "Munden's Bar", as titled on the cover, and do they order a Manhattan? No Anchovies, Please! Most early TMNT stories were done in black and white, and a color appearance is near to or akin in the Hell-Boy 1st appearances. Bringing color can bring life, but looking back, it is nostalgia all the way!
