Set Description:
X-force had some fun with the Weapon X program! It involved the Deadpool and many other takes on the operation, that turned many to the dark side. Many have come or gone through the program, which it was thought that only the Wolverine could survive! Healing factors and all, grace this series. Not so special? Is it, instead, just a special plot? Rounding up those of whom can survive such a program. This set also has some Hologram issues, of the "distorted kind!"
The Force is "X" and carry the 8, and you've got a team that is as full as the day with Cable on the Time Clock! Checkmate!
Built on the proverbial back of the character Cable, not all are happy with the choice in leadership, but they get the job done when called. Taking the reins to otherwise home in on the timelines of the past or future, sometimes we find the Cable character on vacation. Can these characters then find some kind of camaraderie towards their groups goal or final solution? It may take some of the enemies they face to form that common bond or strike a chord among them that is similar enough to keep them civil. Not all things turn out bad or worse, but mostly for the betterment as a long-lasting run of comics, comics, comics! Serving others has become their repertoire but what is in it for them as individuals becomes a top concerning priority.

2nd appearance of Deadpool. 1st app. of Weapon X (Garrison Kane). Juggernaut & Black Tom Cassidy app. Fisticuffs!! This Issue means a lot because it was plentiful as a kid and easier to find. Many times, I would read it and initially wonder who are these people? These characters eventually got fleshed out for the better. Deadpool becomes more of a wisecracker, and the X-force seemed to have a purpose. The initial 1st impression was lacking, I'm glad I stuck with it! I almost didn't know Weapon X in Deadpool Circle Chase, because I thought the Wolverine was Weapon X. Maybe it was just supposed to be the Weapon X "Program!" Well, that's all kinds of confusing at first! Lol. Whatever it is that Deadpool is fighting, it is out to get him, so I'm guessing this is self-defense, so the Circle Chase Deadpool Limited Series makes sense now.
Complete with back cover picture of a splash page featuring the Deadpool, with a very agitated Weapon X. It was picked up as a double "reader" under copy from Keith's Comics, in trade.

"A" 1st of the Domino! This is the "real" Domino appearance according to CGC, and yet, not as a disguise or flashback, but as herself. Technically that happened in issue #8, but that books plot is about the recollection, I believe. I found this issue raw at one of the first cons I went to when getting back into collecting. I bought this along with a copy of ASM #134. You should have seen the look on the dealer's face when I asked to look at both books at the same time. Back to this X-force issue, it is the pic of the graded copy 9.6 that I bought raw at that con. Those early attempts to draw as an artist for those involved, to then draw in the reader! They have been found everywhere and take up a lot of that generations mind space, as it is what was mainstream or enough so for everyone to recall and recognize! It made an impression, but Lord willing a meaningful one.
Complete with a back cover picture of the "insides" from further copies I've found, often in the dollar bin. It used to be cheap! I'm glad to have representation of "early" Deadpool too! Especially in high grade, it does seem plentiful, although of the Deadpool appearances in X-force, this seems like a cool cover. The fight mattered to me! Both characters have more to say and do, and in the end, Deadpool leaves "less" questions than answers.

Distorted Hologram and on the label! Found raw at the used bookstore, and the 4th of these "Fatal Attractions Distorted Holograms" I've found on the cheap. Only need 2 more graded, to complete the regular cover set! The Excalibur #71 I already have found raw and will be the 2nd to last! This 9.4 doesn't disappoint. I could have sworn it was only 8.5 lol. Not a 1st appearance and not an origin. It is just a regular issue with a wraparound cover and a Distorted Hologram. The Exodus planned to use the Acolytes to usher in Magnetos world, but I believe the Exodus had a little something on the side too. Magneto gets his behind kicked in a bad way. He'll be jelling soon enough. I still dig the Cable covers from this era; they are less digital than today's moderns. It has a style that I was used to growing up with. I wonder what the current opinion is today, is it any better? I'd like to think something's are still easy on the eyes.
Wraparound Cover as a special type of rescue to the story and arc of Wolverine, Magneto, and Xaivier. With the rest of the X-men and surrounding X-titles, it was a major turning point that most remember reading to the end and running to the newsstands and comic shops to make a copy theirs!

1st appearance & ""death"" of Zeitgeist, Sluk, Gin Genie, Battering Ram & Plazm. 1st app. of U-Go Girl, Anarchist & Doop. That is a mouthful, but the more the merrier for this "Newsstand Edition!" I picked this up at a used bookstore by asking to see the back stock, I wasn't sure if able, but I WAS hopeful. Turns out they had a big stack for me to go through, and I picked up others as well, close in grade too. A lot of this art is reminiscent of the Wizard guy in the 90s with a lightning bolt exclamation point for a design on his shirt. Same artist as then I believe. Time flies when having your imagination published. Not all of it went over well in the 90's but with enough 1st appearances to shake a stick at, it'll do for a dollar bin find! Keep at it and the rewarder is Faithful to provide. These X-force are towards the very end of the run, who would have thought that it would run for so long?
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue from a direct under copy, filled to the brim with mutant angst and or considerations. "Splat!" In for the demise and joyful when the mutants serve a purpose, but no matter the age, it is a lot to handle for their minds and hearts to not see corruption!
