Set Description:
This title was the first publication by Marvel UK, the British arm of Marvel Comics Group. It was a weekly reprint sold in the U.K. of some of the U.S. Marvel comic book stories.
At the moment my set only contains issue number #20 (which reprints the first 15 pages of Daredevil issue number #1 and part of issue number #10 of Fantastic Four ). I also have issue number #21 ( which reprints the rest of DD #1 and FF #10 ) certification number 4734015002 for which I am awaiting a slot number. I purchased them from Red Elephantman, a U.K.comic book dealer , in March 2026 and had them slabbed by CGC in June 2026. I bought them because they contain the reprint (the first one?) of DD #1, albeit in part in black and white, and in part in green, black and white. I am lucky to have 2 examples of the comics in the set that are 9.6 's because they contain puzzles and coupons for mail-away offers, and none of them have been filled in or cut out by the original buyer. Also, the paper used is not very high quantity and is perishable so it's a miracle that my copies are in such high grade.
My gallery photo of the back cover of issue #20 contains a copy of the first page of the reprint inside the comic which I have laid on top of the actual back cover, which is a pin - up of Johnny Storm in flight as the Human Torch.
I would like to add further comics to the set from the ones that contain other first appearances like issue number # 198 which is is a reprint of The Incredible Hulk issue number # 181, the first full appearance of Wolverine.
