In 1973–1975, DC Comics published a nine-issue series reprinting Simon-Kirby material from the earlier series. The new incarnation featured new covers with the same logo as the earlier issues of the Prize series. The reprint issues generally grouped the stories by theme; for example, all the stories in issue #1 dealt with intolerance toward human oddities, while all the stories in #4 were about death. Nice opening splash page.

Highest graded, 1 of 3. I don't know if these books have the best stories from the original series but the ads are as good as it gets.
There's no Johnny Depp in this ad but's it clearly a classic ad for the Walt Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" toys.
Are they still making toys like this? If so, I need to start playing, I mean, collecting them.

Okay, so I don't remember anything about how or where I got this comic. I'm old, 58, and starting to find it hard to remember anything if I haven’t written it down. If I find the paper work I’ll list the info. Wow, I’m now 65 and just found the paper work. Got it off from eBay for $25 in 2011. This copy was the highest graded copy at the time but a 9.8 has since replaced it as highest graded. Nice little ad that looks more like it’s from the 70’s. Oh wait, it is from the 70’s, told you I was losing it.

I don't have anything bad to say about the artist and writers of this comic, they're great, but sometimes the ads are better than the comics over time.
I think we'd all like to have these two toys. I'd never even heard of the Boy Scout dolls. And man, if I had the Evel set, it'd be up on the mantel.
The cover to this issue is a swipe from the Prize #1 issue of Black Magic.

Highest graded, 1 of 1. I don't know if there is more to read or more art to look at. They sure put a lot more words in a comic a few decades ago than they do now.
Black Magic says it has the "Stangest Stories Ever Told" but a mummy holding a box of Twinkies, that's a little too strange.
Okay, it's from an ad on the inside cover but it's a Batman and Robin comic story that some would say is better than some of the stories in the comic itself.
Oh ya, last issue.
Yeah that’s right, another ComicLink purchase. It feels like I’m putting ComicLinks kids through college.
