Well here it is, the comic that started me down the path of collecting Amazing Spider-man. I bought this book at a small bi-monthly convention just outside Philadelphia, shortly after i decided to try and assemble a run from 1- 100 of the highest graded ASM's i could afford. While i doubt ill come close to being a top set i do however intend to put together a good looking run. Issue #59, First Cover featuring Mary Jane. In this issue Peter heads to a night club where Mary Jane is a dancer only to uncover that she is being used an unwitting pawn in Dr. Winkler's scheme. A camera she is given is used to help brainwash people and use them to commit crimes. The issue ends in a cliffhanger with Spidey getting caught by Dr. Winkler's employer : The Kingpin.

Comic #2, got this one during Comic Link's feature auction in June. Issue number 77 features a continuation of the fight between Spidey and the Lizard with human torch making a guest appearance to spice things up. Spider-man struggles to stop the human torch from putting the Lizard down for good while also trying to find a way to revert the Lizard back to Dr. Connors. In the end Spider-man tricks the human torch into leaving by telling him he has "spider-sonic" hearing and he heard a distress call from the Fantastic four. With the Torch gone Spidey focuses on the task at hand and eventually uses dehydrating powder to turn the creature back into Curt Connors.
