Scarce Mercer County bank with this well circulated piece among only nine large size to be reported. The bank officers' signatures are stamped in the two different colors of blue and black. Cashier appears to be a Miller.

Frazier, Asst. Cashier and J.A. Benfer, President. Frazier becomes cashier in 1930 and Benfer was president for just two years, 1921-1922. East Brady, PA The Peoples NB Ch. # (E)5356 PMG 25 $10 1902 PB Fr. 633 SN 2261/N931773E pp B Apr. 23, 1920 A tough Clarion County bank in large. Signed by J.L. Liedwick, Cashier and President N.E. Graham. For PA, towns with East in their names that had a NB include Brady, Berlin, Conemaugh, Greenville, Mauch Chunk, Smithfield and Stroudsburg. You could also count Easton which is about as far east as you can get in PA.
